Classes I teach

I am the coordinator for the strategic communication sequence in the Department of Communication. We have approximately 1200 majors in the Department of Communication, and a large number of those are in strategic communication. As coordinator, I organize our classes, find local professionals to teach, and develop new opportunities for our majors. If you are interested in learning more about strategic communication, then click here.

I also teach graduate courses in statistics, measurement, and health communication. In addition to routinely teaching a course in Health Communication (my area of expertise), I teach an introductory graduate-level statistics sequence (two courses) that provides students with hands-on training in SPSS and data analysis. The introductory sequence was developed to serve students in Communication and Health Promotion & Education. The first course in the sequence is HEDU 7103. HEDU 7104 is taught every spring by another faculty member. Graduate students from other departments are always welcome.

Students interested in my future teaching schedule should consult this site. I will update it as soon as I know more.
